My specs: ABIT IP 35 PRO (this mobo doesn't have UEFI bios), CPU Quad core q9300, good new power supply Corsair 500w, Gigabyte 1060 GTX OC 3gb, Windows 10 x (OS Build 14393.693). My older card ( 660 gtx ) works OK with 378 branch, but not the 1060gtx The only solution for now seems to remain with 376.60/376.33 or any other older driver. I ran some free 3rd party driver cleaner software which has of yet didn't resolve the issues. This chipset does not have NVENC support. 20:39:59.332: NVENC encoder: 'simpleh264stream' Failed to open NVENC codec: Function not implemented. I have to reverted back to an older driver version for any driver set to work. 20:39:59.332: error: The minimum required Nvidia driver for nvenc is 378.66 or newer.
378.66 driver failed to install install#
I deleted all of Nvidia stuff I could see, then tried to manually install the drivers through device manager which all failed as well. Sometimes the driver succesfully loads on boot, but most of the time not. My computer would not identify the GPU in system information, and any attempts of installing Geforce Experience or any drivers (current or otherwise) all fail.

(Code 43) in device manager after driver install and restart, sometimes low resolution only. I tried all possible solutions, DDU, fresh Windows 10 圆4 install+1607ver updates, disable AHCi, Reset bios cmos, reseating gpu in pcie, installing only the driver without physx or audio or Geforce Exp, all failed. Something isn't yet working correctly, I'm getting following error with 3.15: Insufficient NVIDIA driver version, Required 378.66, Installed 0.0 Failed to initialize CUDA. Thursday, Febru5:03 AM ( ) NVIDIA's newest graphic driver version 378.66 Won't install on my EVGA Titan X SLI setup. Exactly the same issue with all drivers from latest 378 branch on a new Gigabyte 1060 GTX OC 3gb Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. When it loads well, all is good until next restart when it throws error code 43. Sometimes the driver succesfully loads on boot, but most of the time not.

Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. I had to revert back the driver to previous version. The driver fails to install and in the Windows 10 (圆4) Device manager the NVIDIA 1050 GTX is displayed with a exclamation mark. Exactly the same issue with all drivers from latest 378 branch on a new Hi, I have encountered a problem with installing the latest drivers from NVIDIA.
